Obituary for Anna Mae Mink

Anna Mae Mink, 89, of Indianapolis, entered into eternal rest on September 9, 2018. She was born on September 20, 1928 in Rock Castle, KY to the late David J. and Anna S. (Evans) Payne.

Anna enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, shopping at Goodwill, and watching the Denver Broncos, especially when her favorite player Peyton Manning was playing.

Anna is survived by her daughters, Glenda (Walter R. Barnes) Mink and Judy Ann Cottrell; five grandchildren, Norman Michael Wade, Glen Darren Wade, Stephanie Ann Sawyer, Lisa Michelle Derringer and Christopher Cooley; seven great grandchildren, Cameron Michael Wade, CayLeigh Nicole Wade, Jeffrey Murphy, Kristyn Sawyer, Kylie Sawyer, Courtney Hawk and Brandon Allen Roy; three great great grandchildren, Addlyn and Avery Grace Murphy and Jalen Summers; and sister, Geneva Saylor of Eubank, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Gilbert Mink; two sisters, Helen Murphy and Ruth Price; and two half-brothers, William Payne and Russell Payne.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. A Graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, at London Cemetery, Fairland, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Auguste's Cottage at Rosegate Village, 7510 Rosegate Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237.
