Obituary for Bruce Joseph Shattuck

Bruce Joseph Shattuck passed away in his home on Tuesday, July 24, 2018; he was 71. He was surrounded by his wife and family. Bruce was born in Warren, Pennsylvania on March 5, 1947 to Fred W. and Martha Shattuck. Bruce graduated from Tri-State University in 1972 with a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering after serving in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a manufacturing engineer and operations executive for over 40 years. Bruce was an avid fisherman, golfer and tinkerer in his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Cheri (Andrews); his sons Todd Shattuck of Savannah, GA and Jared Shattuck (Dr. Lori Shattuck) of Indianapolis, IN, and his daughter Julie King (Rex King) of Greenwood, IN; eight grandchildren Hannah, Nathan, Abigail, Elizabeth, Caleb, Ashlynn, Carson, and Sydney; sister Kathy Bulicz; and beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Ted, Paul, and Dean.
Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00pm Saturday, July 28, 2018 at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood IN followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made directly to Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 W 8th St, Erie, PA 16505 or to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
