Obituary for Mary M. May

Mary M. May, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 31, 2017. She was born on August 22, 1928 in Indianapolis to the late Julius H. Albers and Elsie R. Orebaugh.

Mary loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed baking pies and cream puffs, playing card games, sewing and gardening.

Mary is survived by her three children, Larry (Vicki) May, Carol (Rick) Parcel, and Rick (Kristy) May; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; two siblings, Robert Albers and Martha Overby.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence May, and seven siblings.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017 at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.
