Obituary for Steve Orval Dieringer

Steve was born May 29, 1947 and served in the united states army. He married Denise Abbott in 1967, his high school sweetheart. They were married until her death in 2015. Steve retired from Delta Airlines after 30 years and loved to travel, he was a very hard worker. After retiring from Delta he continued to be part of the Indiana Blood Bank for the next 18 years. Survivors include: his mother Evelyn Dieringer, sisters JoAnn and Sue, and nieces Sarah, McKeon, and nephews Marshall and Mason. Steve was a wonderful husband, brother, and loved to travel.

It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing you were a special part of a well lived life. Memories of love and friendship are treasures to carry with you always and when the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange we can only take the lessons we have learned and the love you shared and turn it into knowledge for tomorrow. Steve you are in our prayers every step of the way. We hold you safe in our hearts at this time of sadness. We can only fill our empty hearts with happy memories. You will be truly missed. Love you always  Mom, JoAnn and Sue.

Graveside Military Honors will be held on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm at The Gardens at Olive Branch and Mausoleum Park, 1605 South State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road.
