Obituary for William Martin Bachman

William Martin Bachman, 66, of Greenwood, entered into eternal rest on December 28, 2017. He was born on September 10, 1951 in South Bend to William P. Bachman and the late, Mary Ruth Laurito.

William was a computer programmer at Liberty Mutual for 18 years retiring in September 2017. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He was a Eagle Scout and a past vestry member at Christ Church Cathedral.

Survivors include his loving wife, Suzanne Bachman; two sons, Danny Bachman (Ashley) and Scott Bachman (Suzy Nasser); four grandchildren, Abby, Ethan, Sally, and William Bachman; his father, William Powell Bachman; three siblings, Bruce, Cindy and Andrew; mother in law, Harriet Henck; numerous nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Christ Church Cathedral, 125 Monument Circle, Indianapolis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
