Obituary for Barton L Schalburg

Barton L. Schalburg, 76, passed away at his Greenwood residence on December 2, 2018.

Born Sept 10, 1942 in Terre Haute, IN he was the oldest child of the late William Schalburg and Ruth Schalburg, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Bart was a steel building salesman and retired from United Structures of America. He has collected and enjoyed Thomas Kincaid pieces for years.

Survivors include his wife of 32+ years Karen Schalburg; three children, Bart (Doti) Schalburg, Kathy (Steve) Martin, Lisa (Jon) DeWitt; step son, Greg (Cynthia) Isbell; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; sister, Becky Kerns; brothers, Brad Schalburg and Matt Schalburg.

Visitation: Friday, Dec. 7 from 1:30 - 3:30 PM at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, followed by the service at 3:30 PM. He will be laid to rest at The Gardens at Olive Branch Mausoleum Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
