Obituary for Kenneth Wayne Henderson

Kenneth Wayne Henderson, Sr., 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 1, 2019. He was born on November 27, 1938 in Indianapolis to the late Walter and Hazel Henderson.

He loved going fishing with his granddaughter. He was a member of Teamsters Local #135 for 31 years.

He is survived by his wife of almost 62 years, Sandra Henderson; children, Kenny (Sylvia) Henderson, Jr. and Wally (Terri) Henderson; grandchildren, Kenetha Marie Henderson (Garrett) Lewis, Jeremy Jones, Scott Jones, Eric, Jones, Amy Jones, and Sarah Harris; great grandson, Landon Lewis, Trent, Kameron, Blake, Rylee, Noah, Elijah, Levi, Carter, Oliver, Jack, Annie, Charlie, and Ethan; and siblings, James Henderson and John Henderson

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Meece, William Henderson, Gerald Henderson.

Visitation will be Tuesday 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
