Obituary for Mary L. Allen

Mary L Allen, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 20, 2017. She was born on December  20, 1935 in Russellville, KY to the late Hummer and Laura Wooden.   She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Eastern Star, and retired from the Indiana Department of Revenue.  Her hobbies included traveling and attending Pacer games. She enjoyed spending time with family and attending church functions. She was preceded in death by husband Harold Allen and son Larry Allen. Survivors include sons Mike (Melinda) Allen and Tim (Tracy) Allen, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN.  Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, November 25 at 11:30 AM.  Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church.
